Q: Can I bring a companion?

A: Yes! Our beautiful Waco YMF Biplane is designed for two passengers. The front cockpit is setup so that you and a companion can sit side-by-side while you both share the experience of open cockpit flying. Furthermore, the aircraft is equipped with an intercom system which allows you to communicate with your partner as well as the pilot.

Q: What should I wear?

A: During the Spring, Summer and Fall you should dress pretty much as you would normally for that time of year.

Q: How do I schedule my flight?

A: It’s easy. We fly sunup to sunset, seven days a week, by appointment. Simply coordinate your arrangements with others who may wish to join you and we will do everything possible to be accommodating. Then give us a call at 207-667-7627 to schedule your flight or | request a flight online |. Generally speaking, you should try to plan for afternoon and evening flights during the fall and spring. This gives things time to warm up prior to your flight.

Q: What if it rains or the weather is otherwise bad?

A: No problem…we simply, reschedule your flight for a better day.

Q: Can I bring my camera?

A: Of course. All camera equipment should, however, be equipped with a strap to prevent loosing it over the side or in the bottom of the airplane.

Q: Can I upgrade my flight to include a second person or a different flight plan?

A: Yes. The value of your certificate can be applied to any of the various flight packages we offer. You must, however, advise us of your intentions to do so at the time the flight is scheduled.

Q: How far in advance do I need to call to schedule my flight?

A: We suggest that you call at least a week in advance for a weekend date and two or three days prior to a weekday flight. Our “sunset” flights are very popular so call early for this one.

Q: How long is my gift certificate good for?

A: All gift certificates/boarding passes are good for one year from the date of purchase.

Q: Are there any age, weight, size or health limitations?

A: Children under the age of nine must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals weighing more than 275 lbs. or couples with a combined weight of more than 400 pounds may be refused service. Please advise us in advance of any acute health problems.
